Description:

Oversee global business guidance for properties opening work tickets through Service Now, post deployment business procedures, on the job training, and documentation of Property Management Systems, Point of Sales system and Guest Service products. The job will include working with hotels to ensure Hyatt’s business practices are followed and hotels have up to date solutions providing colleagues and guests a preferred guest stay.

  • Ensure hotels adopt best business practices related to the use of Property Management System, Point of Sales and Guest Services.
  • Ensure hotels adopt best business practices related to the use of Property Management System, Point of Sales and Guest Services.
  • Conduct training of Hyatt’s business practices in relation to Rooms systems, Food & Beverage systems, and brand standards
  • Liaise with the Hyatt Colleagues on-site and off-site for successful installation of the Property Systems.
  • Develop training materials to compliment the installation of the new Property System for PMS, POS and Guest Services
  • Support of colleagues during project development, beta testing and immediately after new system installation.
  • Prepare documentation for enhancements, version upgrades, rollouts and support
  • Plan training and system configuration for individual hotel visits
  • Leading a hotel management team through a system and hotel transitions
  • Guide colleagues during pre (management training of associates) and post conversion (remote support)
  • Ability to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of software releases
  • Ability to establish and foster relationships with vendors to achieve proper system resolutions
  • Coordinates training documentation to improve system and operational knowledge
  • Ability to travel, conduct training and configuration based on hotel and company standards
  • Excellent training and presentation skills

Qualifications:

Experience

  • 2 years experience in two operational areas at a Hyatt hotel: Guest Reception, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Reservations, Restaurants, Bars, Banquets, Events, Sales
  • Supervisory / Assistant Manager experience both upward and downward
  • Experience in conducting classroom training and preparing training documentation
  • Experience with Hyatt PMS, POS or Guest Service Systems

Education

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Competency with Microsoft Applications, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Opera - PMS
  • Micros 9700, Simphony1 or Simphony 2

Additional Requirements

  • This position has global travel required
  • This position is based from a Hyatt Corporate office
  • Colleagues are also encouraged to visit Hyatt properties regularly to maintain updated business practices along with on the job coaching. At minimum 2 visits should be conducted.
