You will be responsible for the day to day financial dealings of the hotel supported by a Shared Services finance team based in Mainz and working closely with the Area Director of Finance for the UK. You will ensure that the hotel's operational budget is strictly adhered to, that all costs are controlled and expenditures are properly approved.

You’ll, also, keep an eye on hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to financial and purchasing record keeping, money handling and licensing. With a responsibility for timely and accurately reporting financial information.

As a Management Accountant you will report directly to the General Manager with a dotted line to the Area Director of Finance - UK & Ireland for finance related matters.

Qualifications:
You will already be part of a team as a strongManagement Accountant in a full service or select service hotel background.

People management experience is necessary, as is a financial degree or equivalent. Along with an advanced knowledge in budget & financial systems. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be able to work on a flexible work schedule.

Your organisation skills and project management will be second to none. You will thrive under pressure, in a fast paced environment and be able to multi-task in order to meet a variety of deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills and a can-do positive attitude is also a must.

You will, also, have excellent computer knowledge, previous knowledge of Hyperion or similar reporting systems and Fourth would be an advantage.
