Hyatt Breakfast Host - Radii Restaurant & Bar in MELBOURNE, Australia
Award-winning luxury hotel, Park Hyatt Melbourne seeks an organised and customer focused individual to join radii restaurant & bar on a full time basis.
With the support of the Manager – radii restaurant & bar, you will be responsible for ensuring all guests receive a warm and personalised welcome upon their arrival to the restaurant, while courteously responding to all guest enquiries and confirming reservations. Further duties include assisting with the efficient running of the department in accordance with the established brand standards of Hyatt International, managing the inventory of the restaurant and general administrative duties.
To be successful in this role, you will have: * A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (A refresher course may also be required). * A local certificate in food handling and hygiene (will be of advantage). * Previouswork experience in a similar environment along with excellent food and wine knowledge. * Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and guide staff. * Exceptional organisational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage your time. * Some administration experience along with sound computer skills. * The ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of five star grooming standards. * The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
