Hyatt Events Sales Associate Director in India

Grand Hyatt Kochi, located on Bolgatty Island is slated to open in mid-2017. The hotel has 265 guest rooms, 5600 sq.m. of convention space amongst other facilities.

As a member of the pre-opening team, the Events Sales Associate Director has to be a dynamic team leader with rich event planning and selling experience in large operations.

Supporting the Director of Events , this role requires a dynamic person to position the Grand Hyatt brand in this key South Indian Market.

You will be responsible to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Events department, covering both the catering sales as well as convention services functions of the hotel whilst working closely with Hyatt colleagues around the world.

You will have to be innovative and updated about the latest event trends to create unique guest experiences for social or corporate events.

Qualifications:
Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management. Minimum 2 years work experience as Associate Director or Senior Manager of Catering or Convention Services in large operation. Good operational, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must. Must be proficient in computer knowledge. This position may require extensive travelling
