Hyatt Loyalty Programs Analyst in CHICAGO, Illinois
Position works across disciplines to drive greater insights into our business that will help inform decision making, guide the programs strategic direction and improved program performance for the World of Hyatt loyalty program. The candidate in this role will be responsible for conducting performance and business analysis for the World of Hyatt Loyalty program. This role is responsible for weekly, monthly KPI performance reporting as well as supporting the development of additional reporting needs as dictated by the program. This role will proactively identify trends and business opportunities for the Loyalty team by bringing insight through data analysis which will allow for informed strategy and business development. The candidate in this role will be responsible for supporting the various data analysis requests received from a wide range of stakeholders. The individual will work with key stakeholders across all our business units to build and operationalize their strategic analytic objectives.
Responsibilities * Program performance measurement and metrics * Program Analytics and Business insights * Support the building of business cases for program changes, enhancements or partnerships * Collaborate with Project Managers and business stakeholders to execute Analytics projects. This includes outlining specific deliverables, provide input to project plans and milestones. * Fulfills ADHOC data requests * Analyze and model structured data using advanced statistical methods and implement algorithms and software needed to perform analyses * Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing. Experience * At least 3 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst * Strong analytical skills.
* Excellent problem solving ability. * Strong communication skills and requires excellent attention to details. * Must be a strategic/analytical thinker, good listener, able to propose/implement creative solutions, maintain a high level of energy, and be an assertive participant. * Working knowledge of Relational Marketing Database design. * Extensive experience with database tools such as Toad or MS SQL Server and writing SQL queries, Power Point and Microsoft Excel. * Excellent time management skills, as well as the ability to effectively establish priorities and manage multiple projects. * Must be results-oriented, self-motivated, decisive, and able to function independently * Ability to define and capture business needs along with articulating strategic implications of analytic results with clarity and persuasiveness in an audience appropriate manner. * Loyalty program experience a plus * Experience working with large transactional databases Education * Bachelor Degree in related field (i.e., hotel management, finance/accounting, mathematics, business administration) Computer Skills * Microsoft Office * Data analytics capabilities – familiarity with business intelligence tools * SQL * Familiarity with data warehousing concepts * Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools is desired Additional Comments and Requirements * Ability to work in a fast paced corporate environment
