About the role Park Hyatt Kyoto is currently seeking an experienced Material Manager who will be responsible for the efficient running of the Department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. Material Manager is responsible for the planning and procurement of material, including vendor development and administration of contracted service in accordance with the hotel policy and procedure.
- Ideally with a university degree in Strategic Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management.
- Minimum 2 years work experience as Assistant Manager in Material or Purchasing
- Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are required
- Business level in spoken and written English and Japanese is essential
