Hyatt Meeting Connections Manager in NEWPORT BEACH, California

The Meeting Connections Manager is a member of the Sales & Events Team with a performance quota. This individual will be responsible for selling and servicing Event bookings under 30 guests as well as selling Group bookings. Typically handle less complex accounts. Develops new leads and researches new business potential within an assigned market. Makes direct calls to potential clients and manages internet based lead websites. This position is responsible for booking short term meetings for the hotel and is high volume and fast paced. This individual must work collaboratively with the Operations teams to ensure smooth event execution for Event bookings.   • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training program or equivalent training.
  • Prefer 1-2 years previous hotel experience.
