The Associate Director of Events is an experienced senior level hotel events role that reports directly to the Director of Sales, Marketing, and Events. Responsibilities include managing and leading the event management team as well as managing select key accounts. The ADOE responsibilities include but are not limited to the mentoring and training events team, recruitment and hiring of events team, leading meetings, working with events, catering and convention services, involvement with the annual business plan process, forecasting, owners meetings, systems training, report analysis, P&L management, business travel and tradeshows, customer entertainment, community involvement and networking. This position may be required to serve as Director in the absence of the Director of Sales, Marketing, and Events.

A minimum of 3-5 years previous event/sales experience, proficient in general computer knowledge, supervisory experience, and able to train and monitor the process of sending referrals, setting traces and profiling accounts. Excellent customer relations, communication, presentation and organization skills of utmost importance.
